Olive Cocoon-
This is one of our dyed wraps. Depending on your screen settings, its a lovely textured, bright green with olive tones. A very popular colour, that many people remark upon. Available in all sizes, as well as custom made.

Purple Cocoon-
This is a lovely, textured and tiedyed wrap. There are varying shades throughout the fabric, giving a different personality in different ties. It's a gentle, quiet colour, whilst still being interesting. This is my personal favourite.
This is available in a small size only, and the last of this colour for a time.
$160
This has now found a new home and family to love. I have a new purple Cocoon, of a similar colouring available.
Crimson Mystery-
This is the illusive red Cocoon mentioned on the Musings Page. The red is deep, secretive and the tiedye bands adding more depth and character.

Earth Ochre
This is a new colour chanced upon and liked. It is a yellow ochre crossed with an old gold. There are 2 Cocoons with this colour, though both are slightly different.
$150
Springtime
This Cocoon is bright and fun without being overwhelming or draining. It is feminine without being fluffy or sickly. It is the same colour as the tulips I had at my wedding! Small size, other sizes to order.
$150
Smoky Cocoon
This Cocoon is all charcoal and smoke. It's dark without being too heavy for little babes. Reminiscent of wisps of smoke dissipating from a camp fire as the morning sun sends its first rays into the sky.
$150
This picture shows a Back Tie for newborns that is secure and comfortable.
This Cocoon has found a new family to love and support. If you love this colour, please email and let me know, and another one can be easily made.
The Unknowable Cocoon-
This Cocoon is an interesting colour, difficult to define. Its a milk chocolatey brown, with some khaki hints in it. However, in some lights it is more khaki and not much brown. Whichever way, it is strong, earthy and grounding.
$150
Berries
This is our new purple, which we are very pleased with. Like all natual dyes, it is an undemanding colour, that still manages to draw the eye and keep you looking. Subtle variations in tones and hues are the reward for those who pay attention.
$150
Tree Stripes
It's not easy to see on the computer, but the green stripe is a darker, mossy colour, and the brown stripe is very grey toned. The lines are wavy, with lighter and darker areas reminiscent of some water colour paintings. Also the trees waving and flowing in a gentle breeze.
$160
This Cocoon has found a new home and lovely family to help. If you are interested a similar one can be made.

The Ties:
Here are some picture of common ties that we give instructions for in our Wrapping Guide that comes with every Cocoons purchased.
Front Cross Tie
This is what the Front Cross Tie looks like from the front, and the back. The weight of your baby is spread across both shoulders, torso and waist so the first part of your body to feel the weight is your feet- NOT your shoulders or lower back.
The Front Cross Tie is a very popular Tie for newborns and younger babies. It is very snuggly, easy to breastfeed, and easy for baby to sleep with their head supported by the Cocoon, not your hands. Your baby is close, cared for and nurtured while you look after your toddler.
Kangaroo Tie
It's a very snuggly Tie that seems fairly popular. To breastfeed, you may need to experiment with how high the original puch is made. Good for babies who like to be semi reclined rather than upright.
This is really for babies under 6 months. After that they might be getting too tall, and too nosey to be happy in this tie.
This photo shows legs tucked up and in, like a frog. This is the optimal method for babies under 3 months. After 3 months you could start to let their legs out for short periods of time.
Socialiser Tie
This is the Socialiser Tie front and back view. It is the same as the Wrap Cross Tie, but with your baby facing out instead of snuggling close to you. Ideal for older babies who still like to be on your front but are desperate to see everything that is happening. When they have had enough, you can simply turn them around and they can have a feed and sleep.
It is commonly used for babies between the ages of 5-9mnths, once they have good head, neck and trunk control. After about 9 months they are just getting a bit too tall!
Note- the shoulder 'straps' must go over the babes chest, just like a seatbelt.
I have been told by a mum that she even went caving with her son in this Tie! I am told they both had a wonderful time.
Double Hammock Tie
This is one of the Back Ties that we can show you how to tie. Unfortunately it is not yet available in our Wrapping Guide. It is very comfortable, from newborn to preschoolers. A newborn demonstration is above, with the Smoky Cocoon.
The older ones also quite like it as they sit quite high and can see over your shoulder. It is supportive enough for them to fall asleep. My daughter fell asleep like this the other day while I was photocopying in my local federal politicians office. She felt safe enough to sleep in unfamiliar surroundings, and when she woke up, she could straight away see what I was doing.
Another day recently, she had a few little scares all at once and so was feeling upset, nervous, and out of sorts. The poor love was crying and when I asked if she wanted to come up on Mammas back and cuddle she just nodded between sobs. Half an hour later she was feeling nurtured and settled again, so when a visitor came over she was ready to hop down and play. I still chopped up dinner whilst this all happened.
This can be a really good Tie for babies who are starting to work on their crawling, and tend to push up off the floor- or your back. It sits quite high on their back/shoulders and is not easily pushed down like in some other Back Ties.
