Be Photography- A lovely photographer based in Perth, who has hcanged the company name from Figments to Be Photograpghy. We had the pleasure of having 3 sessions with our eldest as a baby and toddler, as well as our wedding photos with (then) Figments. Relaxed, friendly and very easy to work with, while getting beautiful photos. Be Photography also very generously donated the images of my Cocoons to be used on this website, pamphlets etc. I honestly can't praise them enough.
Natural Parenting- An online forum of over 40,000 members with parenting experts, parents, and grandparents all interacting and providing advice and support.

A very interesting site with thoughtful and honest blogs, as well as links to ethical shopping retailers. "Insight and encouragement for modern mums looking at how popular culture impacts our mothering and how we can be set free to discover our own unique parenting style."
MUMmedia

Women and families in WA are very fortunate to have a government funded Homebirth program. They also run workshops and classes about choices for childbirth, a migrant program, and similar projects. I had both my pregnancies with the CMP and have only positive things to say. Even though both times I needed to transfer to hospital, the one on one care of my midwife during pregnancy, labour, birth and postnatal is not to be disregarded. I felt totally supported, nurtured, and respected by my midwife, and I knew that I called the shots whilst having the benefit of a wise and experienced friend. How many women birthing in hospital can say the same? Not as many as should be able to.

A new website, long needed, aimed at teaching fathers techniques on being the awesome birth support we all know they can be. But you can't expect a person to just suddenly understand algebra without ever being taught simple addition. Indigo Cocoons is really pleased to see this site, and the 2 Doulas who have created are very experienced and have been running 'Beer and Bubs' for a few years at least.
